I… fuck. This is sorely tempting as a conversion. You’d have to paint him a lot darker than that tho- dude’s Anatolian from like 8000 BCE. He’s gonna be brown as fuck.

(Un?)fortunately I’m actually an Ultramarines guy so I will want to paint mine up as Big Bobby G rather than give him the Emps overhaul, but if I win a second one in a contest or something you can bet this is on the agenda.

I swear, how does this simple change make the model look so much better? Like, I just feel that there’s something I can’t put my finger on about the actual Guilliman model that makes me think it doesn’t look great, and that’s really bugging me.

Some more WiP stuff! Canoness Veridyan is looking slightly less uncomfortable now. XD I still need to detail her feet properly though, and I can’t decide if I want to do anything with her chestplate or not. Meh.

Also a bit more WiP on the legion herald! Second attempt at sculpting a face is an improvement over the first – think I’ll keep this one, tidy it up a bit, then add the ears and hair. Also showing some significant mold slip on the backpack there – I might give GW a call and see if I can get a replacement, cos given what these models cost, I shouldn’t have to fix shit like that. 😐

That’s an excellent improvement to the canoness, I’ll likely do the same to the poor inquisitor. She doesn’t even have feet! Sculpting new from scratch might be the way. What are you using?

I’d badger GW about that mold slip, the backpack is all but destroyed? For sure, given how expensive their shit is. And honestly, even if it wasn’t expensive, you are paying for a product, and that not the product you were promised.
